Temporary Role - Possibility of Permanent Position.

Are you an organiser?  Do you like a challenge?  Are you a good communicator with exceptional Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.  Then you could be who our Client is looking for.  We are searching for a Communicator who will assist families relocating to the UK, with good spoken English, a proven work history track record in the UK, to perform a variety of duties and searches for families settling in the UK.  You must be a confident note taker and able to act on your own initiative in supporting and communicating with various dignities and social media sites.

 

This position will be subject to a background check and is available immediately.  You must have your own transport.

  • Raising and answering accounts queries.
  • General accounts and admin duties
  • Carrying out driving license checks for company insurance purposes.
  • Providing holiday cover within the department.
  • Storing and updating company paperwork on company systems
  • Assisting with any other relevant activities as required.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an accounts role in small or medium sized business
  • Experience with Sage 50 preferred but not essential
  • Strong IT skills with excellent Excel and Word.
  • Experience raising and processing sales invoices.
  • Experience processing purchase invoices

Job Details:

  • Full time 9.00am – 5.00pm, Monday - Friday
  • Working in a busy environment with robust colleagues.
  • Salary £24,000 – £25,000.
  • Temp to permanent role after 3 months depending on performance.
  • Ideal start date – asap

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative in Bedfordshire for a temporary 12-month contract.

You will need a current Forklift license for this role.

Salary - £24,814.40 pa basic plus 13% shift allowance for working rotating weekly shifts as below:

40 hours per week

Early shifts - 6am - 2pm - Monday - Friday

Late shifts - 12pm - 8pm - Monday - Thursday and 10am - 6pm - Friday

You will be someone who can assist in the smooth running of the warehouse activities on a day-to-day basis, with a right first time mentality,  while working in a safe and controlled manner.

Continuous improvement is a core part of the role and operatives should be looking to drive improvements in their area to reduce waste and inefficiencies to help support the company’s aspirations for growth.

The role requires attention to detail, making sure processes are followed and orders are picked correctly, involving the use of SAP warehouse management system so batch traceability, good stock accuracy and stock rotation are maintained.

We are looking for someone who -

  • Is proactive and self-motivated to deal with issues in the day to day.
  • Takes ownership of their work area and the process they are running.
  • Has a willingness to learn and develop their skills.
  • Has a desire to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the role and environment.
