CAD Engineer/Draftsperson – Bedfordshire – Immediate Start
Our client has proudly been a family-run business for over 60 years, offering top-notch electrical and mechanical contracting services to some of the UK's largest developers. They specialise in new build installations across London and the Home Counties, where quality and innovation are at the heart of everything they do.
What We're Looking For: We are on the hunt for a talented CAD Technician with Electrical Experience or a passionate Draftsperson to join our client's dynamic team.
Your Role:
As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include:
• Transforming electrical consultants' drawings into precise, working site plans.
• Crafting detailed flat lighting layouts while considering ventilation, sprinkler systems, and more.
• Designing schematics for various electrical systems, including Low Voltage, Access Control, AOV, and BT.
• Collaborating directly with architects to ensure seamless coordination between electrical designs and client expectations.
• Producing CAD drawings for electrical systems with attention to accuracy and detail, ensuring they meet the latest industry standards.
• Maintaining a library of drawing standards and templates to ensure consistency across all projects.
• Revising and updating drawings based on site feedback and project requirements, ensuring they stay relevant and accurate throughout the project lifecycle.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
This is a full-time, office-based role located in Bedfordshire, Monday through to Friday (8:30 am – 5:00 pm).
