Operational Analyst

Job Description

 

Hours: 40 Hours per week (8:00am - 5:00pm)

Job Purpose:

  • Full ownership of the Portfolio of work for the business

  • Producing planned v’s actual statistics on the Portfolio; and subsequently reforecasting

  • To support the COO with business and departmental analysis as required

  • To provide the COO with regular resource, sales and financial forecasts

  • To work with the COO to develop and manage all business KPI’s management

  • Manage the BoM Administration function within the business

  • Assist with any projects providing support in areas such as testing, RAID management and training to users

 

Main Duties:

  • Creation and ongoing maintenance of the Portfolio of work for the business, providing planned v’s actual reporting

  • Using this data to re-plan, provide resource and financial forecasts

 

  • Identify area for Continual Improvement and work with others as required to deliver requisite tasks to achieve the improvements

  • Work with the COO to provide analytical resource and reporting as required

  • Take ownership of the maintenance of business KPI’s

  • Resource planning business area including working with Senior Managers to forecast resource

  • Ensure the effective maintenance of all BoM’s within the business ERP system

  • Complete reports as required for the COO

  • Assisting with administration support to cover other departments in peak times.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Financial reporting experience

  • Experience of translating design BoM’s to manufacturing BoM’s

  • Advanced MS Excel

  • Experience of developing and maintaining KPI’s

  • Able to effectively plan processes

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Resource Management Skills
