Area Cleaning Manager

Job Description

Covering primarily Milton Keynes, with some work in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, our client is seeking an Area Cleaning Manager to oversee and manage cleaning contracts / customers in business environments such as offices, shops, schools, and factories

Your duties will include :-

  • Regular client liaison and meetings

  • Staff recruitment, induction, training, and managing the performance of your team

  • Quality control

  • Cleaning schedules implemented & monitored

  • Stock control - ordering and delivering

  • Able to work on their own initiative within a team environment

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers via regular meetings, telephone calls and e-mails.

  • Ad-hoc duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have :-

  • A willingness to work flexible hours & assist with cleaning when cover is needed

  • The ability to manage clients and handle any issues as and when they arise

  • Good numerical, written & verbal communication skills

  • Excellent Time management Skills

You will normally work 40 hours per week split between the mornings, day and evenings, Monday to Sunday.

The earliest you may be required to work would be 5:00am and the latest may be 10:00pm, dependant on the contracts you will be managing.

A driving licence is required and you will be issued with a Company Van + Mobile.

Salary is ranging between £20,000- £22,000
