Spectrum Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting an experienced administrator for a well established construction business based in Flitwick for this immediate start.

The successful candidate will be working within the busy purchasing dept, offering administrative support to the buying/ purchasing team involved with all aspects of the supply chain:

A selection of typical duties will include: (this is not an exhaustive list)

  • Typing out Purchase orders and issuing to the supply chain,checking acknowledgments and benchmark quotations.

  • Working with the accounts to resolve PO/invoice queries

  • Admin ad maintenance of the companies Approved Supplier register

  • Issuing and analyzing supplier audit questionnaire and validating the various industry certifications

  • Expediting and tracking suppliers and following up on key agreed delivery dates, working closely with factory planning teams to discuss and prevent delays to production scheduling and therefore ensuring the supply of materials and services are performed in a timely manner

 

This is a central role within the dept liaising closely with both the buying team and the various internal depts within the business and will be classified as a developing role for the right candidate within a successful and expanding company. Progression will be encouraged and expected.

Additionally our Client is looking for a flexible, proactive, self-motivated, conscientious person who is a team player, with very good general administrative experience. The successful candidate will be a good communicator adaptable and a quick learner. The role will include frequent working under own supervision and will require initiative skills and pro-active work methods to meet the quality of work required within deadlines set. The role represents the supportive process link between specifier - buyer - supplier through to the end user and therefore success will rely on proven relationship building skills.

This role would suit someone with a strong administrative background to offer operational support for the team. There is huge scope for progression with the opportunity to develop into a specialised purchasing role .

In return the chosen candidate will be rewarded with a salary of £25k+ and 21 days holiday per annum .
