Our client based in Flitwick is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a high volume, busy office environment.
Main responsibilities will include:-
Maintaining Purchase Order files
Assisting with the processing of supplier invoicing, including coding
Assist in coding and processing expenses
Completing weekly payroll
Preparing and processing supplier and subcontractors payments
Assisting with Credit Control, maintaining cash books and bank reconciliations
Preparing and updating spreadsheets for cash flows
Completing financial returns on a quarterly basis for VAT returns
Assist in duties necessary for meeting year end accounts/management accounts deadlines
Other Ad-hoc Accounts based duties, where required
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, positive, reliable and presentable with excellent IT skills and a good understanding of Microsoft packages, especially Excel.
Working hours are Monday- Friday 8am - 5pm paying £20,000 pa (negotiable)
