Customer Service Advisor

Job Description

Our clients are seeking a Customer Service Advisor for 6 months Maternity Cover (possible extension to 12 months)

Main responsibilities: -

  • Collect, sort and distribute addressed mail

  • Deal with all generic post

  • Answer incoming calls and transfer accordingly

  • Deal with telephone queries and update database details

  • Look after Mail Inbox

  • Process orders and deal with payments via instalment plans 

  • Balance and cross check batches before passing to Accounts Team

  • File invoices

  • File all relevant paperwork and assist with general administrative tasks

Skills and knowledge: -

  • Good interpersonal skills 

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to take responsibility for own workload and meeting tight deadlines

  • Experience of working effectively and efficiently both individually and within a team.

  • Sound administrative/ keyboard skills; proficient in Word and Excel

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

  • Educated to Level2 /GCSE standard grade C or above in English Language and Mathematics

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8:45am - 5pm and Friday 9am - 4pm with 1 hour lunch 

The salary is £18,200 pro- rata
