Accounts Assistant (Sales Ledger)

Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our clients in assisting with the effective, day to day operation of the group Sales Ledgers on a FTC 6-12 months.

Key responsibilities:-

  • Process incoming receipts

  • Updating cashbooks and banking using Sage 200c

  • Daily reconciliation

  • Sales ledger month/year end procedures

  • Processd refunds, corrections and raise credit notes

  • Credit Control procedures

  • Assist with employer invoicing

  • Liaise with auditors

  • Assist other areas including purchase ledger and Finance Team etc

Skills and knowledge :-

  • Experience of working within an accounting environment

  • Knowledge of accounting software packages in an accounts department

  • redit Control experience

  • The ability to maintain a high level of accuracy at all times

  • Good level of IT; particularly Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word and Outlook

  • You’ll be an excellent communicator and able to forge effective working relationships both internally and externally

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8:45am - 5pm and Friday 9am - 4pm

£20,000 - £21,500 pro-rata depending on experience
