Our well established client is seeking a sales office assistant to join the small friendly team on a flexible basis. You will be supporting the businesses sales function by taking customers through the whole sales process and increasing business at every opportunity.
This will Involve:
Preparing price and delivery quotations for customers by liaising with manufactures.
Processing customer requests for samples and product information.
Answering questions on technical product information
Producing monthly sales reports ( A good knowledge of Excel would be beneficial)
Liaising with the marketing team to create customer tailored mail shots
Helping the MD to prepare for trade shows, including travel & the stands themselves.
For this role occasional foreign travel may be required for you to go to exhibitions around the world.
A good knowledge of Excel and CRM databases would be an advantage as the company are soon to implement a CRM.
Working hours for this position will be offered on a Part Time but flexible basis. Starting with around 10 hours a week which could increase with workload. There is also potential to work some of the hours from home.
This will come with a generous hourly rate of £20 per hour.
